Traffic is reportedly at a standstill on a busy road in Devon due to a crash. Reports of the collision on Telegraph Hill came in just before 4pm today March A witness told DevonLive that the crash appears to be a single vehicle collision. Police are reportedly on the scene at the incident on Telegraph Hill heading towards Torquay. Traffic is said to be being diverted round the crash scene at the moment. However, the road has not yet been closed. It is not yet clear whether anyone sustained any injuries. Devon and Cornwall Police has been contacted for more information. The traffic website has no details of the crash. It is understood that any delays have now been cleared.

There is heavy traffic along the M5 near Exeter this morning June 7 due to an incident. According to an eye witness, there are traffic delays in the area near Exeter Services due to a crash. The incident has taken place near junction 30 and pictures from the scene show long queues in the area. The M5, A30, and the surrounding roads near Bridge Road in Exeter experienced heavy congestion following a police incident in the same area. Bridge Road is now open in both directions after a man died earlier today. He was confirmed deceased at the scene, his next of kin have been informed and police are not treating the death as suspicious at this time. Enquiries are ongoing. Traffic in the area was forced to follow a diversion , which includes the M5 and A According to Google Maps, the majority of the roads in the area are colour coded red, indicating serious congestion. Photos taken near the scene also showed Dawlish Road, Chudleigh Road and Ide Lane in the Alphington area of Exeter all "rammed" as vehicles try to navigate their way out of Exeter without the option of using Bridge Road. Congestion to heavily congested through Matford, Alphington and along Topsham Road towards Exeter as traffic heads away from the earlier closure. All lanes have been re-opened.
