This is the Grand Italian Wine by definition, also produced entirely with Nebbiolo grapes. Barolo wine comes from the village in the Langa bearing the same name a few kilometres south of Alba. The colour is a full and intense garnet red and the perfumes are both fruity and spicy. Red berries, cherries in liqueur and jam are present both in the nose and in the mouth, together with roses, faded violets, cinnamon, pepper, nutmeg, vanilla and, at times, liquorice, cocoa, tobacco and leather. Barolo must be allow to age for at least three years, one and a half of which has to be in oak barrels.

The promotion and enhancement of Barbaresco DOCG and the territory it is expression of is the main commitment of the Enoteca and takes place not only through the organization of events, such as Barbaresco a Tavola and the Weekends of Piacere Barbaresco, but mainly through the daily tastings activities. The daily relationship with visitors in the unique venue as the church that hosts the Enoteca, is a very key moment in the promotional purpose made possible thanks to the opening 7 days a week and the qualified and motivated staff. In the Enoteca you can buy the Barbaresco of the entire production area, grappa and a lot of gadgets. This increases the offer of selected local products, which, in combination with the historical variety of reference Nebbiolo , create a surprising synergy. History, culture, landscapes, food and wine treasures: the most authentic essence of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato hills encapsulated in a place that has been a vigilant guardian of the territory for over a thousand years.
