Ea app wont connect to internet

March I had to do a clean install of windows. So frustrating!

December I've got WiFi on my PC and everything else functions perfectly - that is to say that I've got connection on every other application. I simply want to play Sims. To use the gallery it gives me the "connect to internet" option, which I do, and then I can see the gallery. But after a while it'll lose connection again, all while the EA app shows the "No connection" box in red. As well as every time I start my computer up again, say, the next day, I'll have no connection on EA again.

October Whenever I launch the EA app I get a 'temporarily lost connection error'. I have tried turning my firewall off and adding it to the exceptions list as well as restarting my laptop, updating my drives and various WiFi and Ethernet connections but nothing seems to help. I confirmed this was the case by downloading Malwarebytes-- the antivirus executable was replaced, yet its role as serial EA app murderer was still fulfilled. What's EA Play?
