Dyson v6 head

I have a V6 dyson v6 head with a motorhead. I pulled the motorhead apart and gave everything a bit of a clean with some water. The pin behind the brush spins so i assume the electrics are good.

I have taken it out and put it back in but it is still doing the same thing. Can anyone please help me.
