Dyson hair dryer cuts out

My hair dryer turns on for seconds and then shuts off. I have checked and cleaned the filter, there are no issues with the cord or outlet.

Best answer by YellowLemon 22 November , I do use a generous amount of hairspray every time. Because I read this can play havoc with the filter, I wash it after every use. Maybe just try giving it a thorough clean down. I see the professional do this slightly different from us regular folk.
