Draw an oc
As the title suggests, in this thread draw an oc have to draw the OC of the person above you in order to get your own OC drawn by someone else. Then see who pics up the challenge.
I have been drawing my OC's for a long time, and I'm quite enjoying it. When I was searching on the internet, especially DA, I saw a lot of fan arts and drawings based on a mainstream style. You know those Sonic style, Steven Universe styles, Eddsworld style, anime style and whatnot? And because of this, I planned on drawing a fan art so that I might try drawing other characters and see if it's my thing. I was kinda good at drawing cartoon-based fan art. But later that time, I had a drawing request that is based from an anime character, and I agreed.

It's that girl again, and today I will be showing you how I draw my ocs! You can also use this to draw your own if you want! Carry on. Yea Yea, but this wouldn't be a step by step 'tutorial' if I didn't include the most important part, would it? Anyways, start out with a circle. Very educational, right? Everyone has their own way of drawing heads so go on. Draw your version of a head. The circles placed randomly and the random short line are actually adaptations from my elementary school art teacher Mrs. I don't remember..
Get what I mean?

The ability to create your own worlds- and the original characters in them- is a huge reason that many kids love art! In creating and drawing original characters, kids get to express their personality, exercise their imaginations, and tell their stories. Many young artists also love writing, and these two creative activities go hand-in-hand! Here are a few key questions you should ask yourself when creating your own, amazing, original characters! To get started with drawing an original character, first ask yourself where and in what time your character lives! Does your character exist in our world and time, or is your character from the past, future or an alternate reality? In drawing and writing, knowing what world and time your character lives in is a great place to start.

I want to see what other guys draw. Zaboem UTC I stopped drawing fan art years ago because people are shallow and only pay attention to that but ignore your original art. Draw the things you're excited about and inspired by! The only reason there's a lot of people encouraging fan art right now is because there used to be and in many places, still is this idea that fanart was somehow not "real" art, and that only original content is worthwhile. I'm so happy right now, this made my day! You can draw whichever way you want the hair to be! KoreanTacos UTC 7. I actually drew very little finished fan art for a long time because it was just hard to be excited for it? I follow people who do mostly original work on Tumblr, but many of them also draw fanart, and have to deal with people messaging them saying "when are you going to draw more [insert fandom here]? I recommend using colored pencils versus water coloring and Crayons because you have more control with them then water colors, and it doesn't look so neat with Crayons. Fanart is fun, and it sometimes lets you step out of your own comfortable box maybe using colour schemes you aren't used to, or drawing body types you don't usually draw, etc.
Creating your first original character is an extremely personal and powerful experience. It can be a ton of fun while letting you learn a lot about yourself and what sparks your creativity.

Very educational, right? This website saves cookies to your browser in order to improve your online experience and show you personalized content. I think it can be fun to try out other styles, but it's okay to say "I don't want to draw anime right now" or "I don't enjoy drawing in this style. AAAAAlrighty that was it! I prefer to draw OCs and just love obsessing over my own work rather than other stories don't get me wrong though, I CAN obsess over other stories , though I'd draw more fanart if I had the extra time and arm strength to. There's nothing wrong with drawing OCs. There's no reason on earth you can't draw, say, Steven Universe in your own art style. I want to see what other guys draw.
