Despite Pia's protests that he can't just own a person, she is in for a losing battle against a powerful alpha like Dragos. This book was as fantastic as I remembered it to be. Lady Heather. My standards for dragon novels is low. That's important, because it's a paranormal novel and a that's always present, b seems like something that'd be part of a dragon's virile vitality, and c dragons know how to seal the deal. The world the author has created with her amazing imagination is wonderful, exciting, and could be scary as hell! In present day he is head of the Wyr demesnes located in New York city. Way to be an apex predator. I love how the author basically is telling the audience, yes this is seriously not PC to have a dude this controlling and chauvanist and jealous, but I'm writing this book about it anyway, because some base thing is going on here and I'm embracing it. All characters are a hoot and I have the next installment I bought the paperbacks. God, he was breathtaking. Is it, like, a fantasy version of Animal Farm? Now while I said this book was good, it's a reflection of how horrid the previous so called dragon books we've read have been that I rated this so highly. You really couldn't ask for a more entertaining read.
