Materials : Toilet paper rolls at least 10 , cardboard enough for the base and roof , scissors, paint, glue stick, paint brush, ruler, pencil. Mine is 8 inches wide. This will be the base of your triangle that will go between the pillars and the roof. You are going to use this dot to find the point of your triangle. The taller your triangle is, the taller your roof will be. You should end up with an isosceles triangle, meaning two sides are exactly the same length. To figure out what size of rectangle you will need, first measure the length of your Parthenon. My Parthenon is 9 inches long. Next measure side a or b of your triangle they should both be the same length. Hire Me. Outschool Classes. About Me.
Mostly, I'm interested in the suspensions for these two drivers.
I've always been kind of interested in ancient Greek architecture, so one day while I was bored, I decided to make a to-scale model of the Parthenon in Greece. This proved to be actually quite simple, only cutting out different sized rectangles, and gluing some painted wooden dowels in, and presto! In case you didn't know, the ancient Greeks contributed a lot to our modern day architecture, like columns and friezes, and even invented porches. Ok, enough of the history lesson, lets get to building! For those of you who don't know, sketchup is a 3d program mainly used for architecture, and has lots of nice features to help with modeling.

How many degrees in a hexagon
Whew, that was a LOT of rectangles. More by the author:. Step 1 : Remove any excess toilet paper from toilet paper rolls. That would at least allow a mm or two of variance, allowing each motor to behave individually, while still allowing the four motors to work together, essentially pushing one single 24"x24" diaphragm together. Hello, Bill We don't yet know where this experiment will take us, but that's at least half the fun, right? This allows the tube to roll freely between the edge of the diaphragm and the basket in a large range of axial motion. I don't think the tube will work I look forward to batting around some more ideas. The original is still just a pile of parts and you are already cloning it. If you are looking for an easier castle to make you might want to try this one! It may not seem like it, but it is. Greece I use two rulers to make the fold nice and straight. Outschool Classes.
