There are many opinions on this, and I have my own after living here for many years, but I also wanted to give a more objective and balanced view of this subject. I collected data on San Francisco crime and other cities for comparison from the local police department and FBI statistics. It's not a pleasant subject, but I think it's important for someone who lives here to share candid information on this issue, along with some safety tips.
