Won't prolong story but you might remember I was replacing a computer bought at BB who gave me a refurbished new PC after they copped to giving me a corrupt new PC. Nothing came up on the screen. Rechecked the hookup with knowledgeable friend and called the Costco Concierge Service that is free. They worked on it and confirmed there was no hard drive. Costco customer service is great and I will receive a new one tomorrow - 4 days after I called. I am very greatful to them. Never thought of the monopoly MS has So, I bought an i5. I may have to go to Macs. This computer which supposedly had "no hard drive" concerns me.

I cannot figure out how to activate the Office Family subscription. I was not emailed anything from costco like other software purchases and after talking to costco customer service they do not send an email with a code when the subscription is bundled with the laptop. I created a Microsoft account but I am unable to find where to activate the subscription. When I open an app on my computer, I only have the option to start a 1 month free trial or buy a subscription.
