The Clentaminator is a Hardmode tool which can be used to create or destroy biomes. It uses Solutions as ammunition , with each Solution spreading a different biome. It has a similar firing pattern to the Flamethrower , but has a much longer range, fires through blocks and works in water. The Clentaminator is generally the fastest means of spreading or removing Hallow , Corruption and Crimson. It can also rapidly convert Jungle to Glowing Mushroom biome and vice versa. It can be purchased from the Steampunker for 2 PC. On the Desktop version , Console version , and Mobile version , after the Moon Lord is defeated, the Clentaminator can be upgraded into the Terraformer by throwning it into Shimmer. Also, the Clentaminator will not be sold in don't dig up and get fixed boi worlds. The Clentaminator cannot be reforged, and therefore cannot have modifiers. I agree, the whole process is not only a money sink, but a big time consuming project, not only because how long it will take you to cleanse all of the corruption and hallow but you can always miss a spot and then have to redo the process. Honestly though, this is all just my biased opinion since I might have a small obsession with trying to keep a world looking somewhat nice and natural. The amount of money that would actually need to be spent for the Clentaminator to actually be able to remove an evil biome from an infected biome is so expensive, that it is typically more effective to partially or entirely destroy infected biomes as opposed to trying to actually cleanse them of said evil biome. You should be able to get it all cleaned up with around 5 stacks. There are a couple ways that this could probably be dealt with, solution could be made cheaper, the Clentaminator could get more range or an increased area of effect similar to the Terraformer, and although, I highly doubt this will ever happen, the rate at which evil biomes spread in Hardmode could be reduced. The fact that "Terraforming is expensive" doesn't make it a good system, instead it makes a completely unviable system when compared to any other method of dealing with Crimson or Corruption.
