The distillery experience begins with entry to the interactive and informative museum to wander through the repurposed 70, litre maturation vats that were used to mature and age the rum. See the world's largest collection of rum and discover the history of the well loved 'Bundy Bear' here. Next, is a 1 hour guided tour inside the Bundaberg Rum distillery to see the giant Molasses wells that can hold up to 5 million litres of Molasses, view the distillation and fermentation process in action and then finish at the Barrel House to hear how the rums are aged and matured for a minimum of 2 years. On completion of the tour, taste any two top shelf rums from the range. It was a great tour. Our guide Alex was very funny and of course, the taste testing was enjoyable definitely recommend this tour for families as our daughter enjoyed herself as well.
