It only shaves slightly closer than my series 9 if i keep going over and over again in the same area. Which kind of defeats the object of a quick shave!. Overall, the 9 is better, especially if you're in a bit of a rush. And it's sooooo smooth on your skin. I actually look forward to shaving now!. I'm simply gobsmacked. As long as i use a good quality pre shave lotion,this 5 series shaves a bit closer than my series 9!. And i don't know why!.
