Brand new eyes intro lyrics
So your father told you once That you were his princess But you won't see the castle You cannot find your prince But now you've grown a lot And your dress don't fit right Your daddy's not a hero He stole your chariot.
The song opens with a poignant reflection on a young girl who was once idealized by her father as a princess, only to realize that her fairy tale dreams have been shattered. The lyrics, "So your father told you once, That you were his princess, But you don't see a castle, You cannot find your prince," convey a sense of lost innocence and shattered illusions. As the song progresses, the protagonist grapples with the harsh realities of growing up and the realization that the world is not as perfect as she once believed. The lyrics, "But now you've grown a lot, And your dresses don't fit right, Your daddy's not a hero, He stole your chariot," highlight the protagonist's struggle to reconcile her idealized image of her father with the flawed reality. The chorus of the song serves as a powerful reminder to the protagonist to stay true to herself and not let her inner demons consume her. The repeated lines, "And I made a home here, For me, Don't burn it down with your fantasies," serve as a warning against self-destructive tendencies and the importance of embracing one's true identity. Overall, "Brand New Eyes Intro " by Paramore is a raw and introspective exploration of the complexities of growing up, facing disillusionment, and finding strength in one's own identity.

Usually they just add a bit to the beginning of a song, so it's really awesome that their intro is practically it's own song. They never cease to impress me. The darkest song, that hay had ever wrote. Why so few comments I feel like it all ties into ecah other, each song. So in this CD I see diffrent things going on. Some of the songs are about love, yes, but did anyone notice that in songs like careful there are all of these anti-religious refrences.
General Comment I love it, it has so much, and it matches their album perfectly

Brand new eyes intro lyrics
The song "Brand New Eyes Intro " by Paramore explores themes of disillusionment, self-discovery, and the conflict between personal expectations and reality. The lyrics present a narrative of a person who feels let down by their father's unfulfilled promises and an idealized notion of love. They were led to believe they were special and deserving of love and happiness, but this perception has been shattered. The image of a princess and castle represents a dream-like, idyllic existence that the protagonist cannot attain. As the song progresses, it highlights the protagonist's growth and realization of their own agency. The protagonist has outgrown their previous expectations and is struggling to find their place in the world. The chariot symbolizes freedom and independence, which the protagonist feels was taken away from them. This could be interpreted as a metaphor for a loss of innocence or a broken familial relationship. The scales beneath the skin allude to a hidden darkness or inner turmoil. This suggests that the protagonist is struggling with their own emotions and desires, possibly feeling a sense of anger or resentment.
