Three Brampton men have been charged in connection with the theft of butter — and more than just a stick or two. Guelph police were called to a grocery store in the south end of the city just before 4 p. Officers responded, checking nearby parking lots before finding the suspect vehicle outside of another grocery store nearby. Two men inside the vehicle were arrested, as was a third man who exited the store and approached the officers. Police say an eyewitness said the third man had abandoned a cart just outside the store, which police allege contained more stolen butter. One of the men was also charged with obstructing police.
