I have enough to make 3 chimes now!! My local bar set out a jar for me. This project has amazing results but takes a bit of preparation. Hook the length of wire through the bottle cap's hole. Now, repeat this process with the remaining length of wire and another bottle cap. Got them all washed and smelling nothing like beer now, and so it's time to go and get the other supplies! If you want your wind chime to look "fuller," you could easily add more bottle cap chains down the middle to make it look more dense. Sorry to say I've looked at my history on ebay and can't find what size jump rings I purchased, but they are pretty large. Already have a WordPress. Try to vary the colors as best as you can as you go. Search for: Search. If you need to, punch holes in the base to add the jump rings to. Keyword: bottle cap wind chime. It quickly became a fun treasure hunt. I used a block of wood underneath the cap to support it and give the punch something to go into.
