How could she not be, what with being the product of a fling between scandal magnet Brooke and… Oh dear. Her son-in-law, Deacon Sharpe. She was virtuous to the point of carrying unnecessary baggage and devoted well past the point where it made any sense for her to stand by Liam Spencer. She has, however, developed a weird fixation with Thomas, aka the stalker who for years repulsed her.

Hope and Steffy argue about Beth and that Steffy still wants to keep her but realizes that Hope was robbed of being Beth's mother and decides to give Beth back to Hope and Liam, much to Steffy's sadness. He shows her the engagement ring he wanted to give her in Cabo San Lucas years ago and declares that he wants to create a family with her. When Thomas tells Zoe that this is a misunderstanding and wants to marry her still, Zoe doesn't believe him. Hope eventually finds out the truth about why Deacon came to Italy, and informs Liam. To make things worse the weather drastically changes for the worse and there is only one clinic that Hope can give birth in.
