I would recommend avoiding 's on United domestic routes at all costs, unless it shows a comfortable configuration. I've sat on other airlines' 10 abreast 's and they are awful too, but this one was by far the worst. Seat 10 D is a standard Business Class seat that transforms into a fully flat bed. The headrest is attached so there may be some lumps when you try to sleep, but a minor issue. Seat 5 D is a standard Business Class seat that transforms into a fully flat bed. Seat 31 E is a standard Economy Class seat. This seat has nearly unlimited leg room due to the alignment of the bulkhead, aisle and lavatory.

The food was good, as this was a morning flight from LAX, we had 3 choices. Seat 37 A is a standard Economy Class seat with limited recline and whose proximity to the lavatories may be bothersome. Seat 34 K is a standard Economy Class seat. Seat 5 L is a standard Business Class seat that transforms into a fully flat bed. Thankfully it was only on a 2. Recliner Premium Plus Rows I was worried that 20G might stick out in to the aisle a bit due to the transition from the business to the premium plus cabin, but this was not the case. Seat 40 D is a standard Economy Plus seat that may have extra legroom due to the position of the bulkhead however, the proximity to the lavatories may be bothersome. Galley noise might be a concern for some. To actually lay flat seat 1G requires you to slightly twist your lower half to the side to align your feet with the foot rest.
