Blueyonder email
Virgin Media has apologised to users of its email services after long-running problems stopped some users accessing inboxes or sending messages. Some customers were still reporting problems on social media hedonia restaurante hours after initial reports of issues. Virgin Media email is no longer available to blueyonder email customers, but many existing customers still rely on it for work. Problems were first reported on Monday morning and continued into Tuesday, blueyonder email.
A couple of days ago I had to re-install everything. The Mac email works fine, the Blueyonder is giving me problems, at first it got the mail ok, then after that it stopped working, kept asking for the password, then I got a message saying there is a serious fault and that it's not a pop address, I should change the Gmail settings. I have spent hours looking on Virgin and Google, just can't figure it out, can someone please help. Have you asked on the virginmedia. It can be very flaky at times, constantly asking for passwords, but seems OK at the moment. That's a problem because the average Usenet client program works with plain text only.

No access to work or family messages, your expensive holiday booking, or the tickets to a gig that were emailed over. What would you do? That is the situation a number of Virgin Media customers say they have found themselves in this summer, and it has left some so furious that they are threatening to not renew their broadband contracts. For others, this has been the wake-up call to ditch their old email and finally move to Gmail, Outlook Hotmail or another standalone service. So much of modern life now revolves around email that it is a nightmare if it stops working. A tech failure initially left some people unable to send or receive emails for several days, and then meant some had three to four weeks without access to historic emails — causing panic among those planning to go on holiday or attend events that relied on emailed tickets. Despite that, Money is receiving complaints from customers who say they cannot access their emails. Harriet Lane from London lost her email service in June. Although the ability to send and receive emails was restored a few days later, she says she had to wait more than three weeks for her historic emails to be restored. I was so relieved when it came back but it was a nightmare. I have repeatedly put off switching email address, fearing I would lose all my emails, but this may be the spur I need. At one stage he feared being unable to take flights to Canada as the tickets had been emailed to him, although the service resumed just in time.

I have an old blueyonder email address and after reading through posts about the app password a few weeks ago when I got a new phone, I successfully managed somehow to generate an app password and log into my phone's mail app. I'm afraid to say that at the time I wasn't paying enough attention to things and just skipped through the steps becuase by that point I was pretty frustrated with the whole app password malarkey. I've tried a number of passwords for my original BY address and also my third party address and I can request a password reset for my third party address too. My dilemma is that because I'm unsure how everything is linked, I'm reluctant to reset my third party password in case I can't then generate an app password for some reason and then I might not have any way of accessing my email. Is there any way just to reset the PW for my blueyonder address so I can access it via webmail while leaving the app password intact? Go to Answer. An-D When logging into the VM webmail page for the blueyonder email address you need to use the third party email address as the username and the blueyonder account password.

David Winskill from Crouch End, north London, says his problems are ongoing. Like the others we spoke to, she says the biggest part of the problem is that it is difficult to find anyone at the company who is able to help. That means in text newsgroups like this, if you post in HTML, most people will see a mess and wonder why you're wasting bandwidth. Either email addresses are anonymous for this group or you need the view member email addresses permission to view the original message. We have been in regular contact with these account holders throughout this issue to apologise and keep them updated on our work to fully restore their inbox, and this was completed last month.
