Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Is Sister-in-law At Home? This comedy show revolves around two neighbouring couples, the Mishras and the Tiwaris, in which the husbands are attracted to each other's wives and attempt various ultimately unsuccessful and hilarious techniques to impress them. Since its inception, the show has garnered positive reviews and acclaim from the critics and viewers alike. The show takes place in the fictional "Modern Colony" located in Kanpur and revolves around two neighbouring couples. The husbands, Vibhutinarayan Mishra and Manmohan Tiwari, have been married for seven years and are bored with their marriages and are smitten by each other's wives, unbeknownst to each other.

Tiwari likes his neighbour, Vibhutis ultramodern wife, Anita, and Vibhuti likes Tiwaris simple wife, Angoori. Their quest to impress each others wives often leads to hilarious situations. Two men from the family, Vibhu and Manmohan Tiwari are drawn to each other's wives and try various, ultimately hilarious, ways to impress them. The men, Vibhutinarayan Mishra and Manmohan Tiwari, have been married for seven years and, unknowing to one another, are charmed by each other's wives. The majority of the comedy TV show takes place in their individual residences. The characters also go to a local tea shop, where they generally talk about their current lives and general topics. Both guys drag each other down and cause issues for others as they plan schemes to impress each other's wives Angoori and Anita. Rashmi Desai declined the part, and the role went to Shilpa Shinde. To celebrate the third anniversary of the Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai TV serial, the entire cast and crew travelled to Goa, a beach vacation destination, in March and shot a complete plot sequence titled "Kanpur to Goa.
