The pulmonary function laboratory is conveniently located across the hall from the Lung Center. There are multiple clinics weekly focused on general pulmonary referrals and longitudinal follow-up and care for patients with both acute and chronic lung diseases. The care in the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic is provided by a multidisciplinary team including attending physicians, fellows, nurse coordinators, dieticians, and social workers. Once or twice each month, Marina Litvin, MD , from the Division of Endocrinology is also present in clinic to see and co-manage patients with diabetes or other endocrine-related complications of cystic fibrosis. A multidisciplinary team of lung transplant specialists including pulmonologists, nurse coordinators, and pharmacists staffs these clinics.
