Barre Attack Virtual Classes are a unique combination of Pilates, dance and fitness that will help improve your posture and balance, improve your strength and flexibility and tone your tummy, butt and legs.
Balance Moves was born from a desire to create a warm, community-based studio with a focus on quality education, individual attention and real results!. Our classes are strong and varied and use a range of props to deepen the intensity of your practise and create a full body workout. We like to keep them small and personalised with all students receiving individual attention and guidance from our expert instructors. Our classes run from 45 minutes to an hour and incorporate a series of core-based movements using your body as resistance to prevent injury, increase body awareness, and improve strength, flexibility and tone. Formerly a professional ballet dancer with The Hamburg Ballet, she travelled extensively across Europe working with various ballet and contemporary companies. Renee thoroughly enjoys instructing and mentoring instructors to bring out their individual strengths and be the best version of themselves. With over 30 years in the movement industry, I have extensive knowledge and expertise allowing me educate people to move, function and feel better in daily life. With over 20 years experience running my own studio in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, my methods have been tried, tested and refined. With over 10 years of providing Teacher Training, I have created my very own Barre Method, called Barre Attack, which provides a fusion of the best of my background in one full body workout giving the clients real and sustainable results. Designed to connect the body and mind through flowing movement while improving posture, balance and body awareness. Body Maestro caters to all bodies from very beginners to professional athletes. My teaching starts with an outstanding base of classical Ballet and traditional Pilates knowledge. These courses are designed with a block system that is easy to learn and follow. I thrive when mentoring instructors to bring out their individual strengths and be the best version of themselves. This is our signature Reformer workout with a focus on balance, posture and alignment. Expect an athletic but accessible approach to traditional Pilates reformer routines. Our Arc classes use a lightweight foam arch that helps to increase spinal mobility and breath awareness. Traditionally called a spine corrector, an arc is a versatile tool that can be used for a total body stretch along with the ultimate abdominal workout.
The Pilates Mat class was created to connect the body and mind through a sequence of abdominal based exercises designed to support the body for daily life. Up to 11 CECs. It is a high intensity, balance moves bondi, low impact workout that is challenging but super rewarding.
The Pilates Reformer classes in our Bondi Beach studio are small and focused with a maximum of 9 students. The reformer is a spring resistance machine that was created by Joseph Pilates as a rehabilitation tool. During the class, you will use it for a variety of exercises to shape, strengthen and align the body. Expect an athletic but accessible approach to contemporary and traditional Pilates reformer routines. Our Mat classes are strong and varied and use a range of Pilates props to deepen the intensity of your practice, it was created to connect the body and mind through a sequence of abdominal based exercises designed to support the body for daily life.
