BTCF: You have had a unique journey within your career, what are some of the most valuable moments you have encountered so far that have enriched your growth? Bailey: One moment that challenged me to grow up is when my channel blew up for the first time. Sometimes in order to express yourself better, you need to branch out. It took me a while to get used to hearing my own voice so much, but it elevated my content and improved my anxiety! Another learning moment was when I had to choose between continuing my education or pursuing social media full-time.

The 21 year old spoke to us about her passion for music, and how her success as a content creator has helped open doors to pursue music professionally. Read the full interview below! I was at my Merch booth, we had a Meet and Greet that was super fun where I got to meet a bunch of people, and I did a panel. Thank you! Have you seen any creative ways your fans have interacted or connected with your music? People tell me they love it and really connect with it. I definitely did! Growing up I played a lot of instruments. In fifth grade, as soon as we were allowed to pick up an instrument I had started playing the viola. Then when I got to middle school, I started playing the trombone! I also played the flute and the ukulele, and now I play the electric guitar!

I started making content in quarantine out of boredom, but soon it became my full-time job.

However, her journey was not without challenges, as she faced severe bullying from peers during her school years. She found solace and support there, and it played a pivotal role in saving her from the difficulties she encountered at school. After high school, Spinn went across the country to San Diego State University, where she started gaining recognition for her TikTok account and the viral content she created. After her freshman year, Spinn left college, opting to channel her energy and focus into the growth of her various social media platforms. Now, she is using her social media success to launch a career as a recording artist. Building on the success of her initial two singles, "Romance Is Dead" and "Runner Up," she followed up with "My Worst Enemy" last year, with more music planned for this year. She purposefully omits gender pronouns in her music.

A punk rock rising star in the music industry, Spinn just released her newest single " Happy Ending ," towards the end of , which was her busiest and most successful year yet. A little bit of Avril Lavigne and Hayley Williams but still very much Bailey Spinn in her sound, looks, and presentation—it hasn't taken long for the artist to develop some serious traction on the world wide internet.

What advice do you have for anyone who has a hard time opening up to people about struggles that they are going through? We got to chat with the rising Rock star about music, content, and her personal inspirations! What would you say has been the best part of creating a safe space online? I want to be able to give someone else around the world the same feeling. I just like writing about things that have upset me and see if people can relate to it too. Be confident in yourself and take pride in what you love to do instead! If I had given up when I started getting hate comments, I would not have the opportunities I have now. Whether it be a cute outfit, some makeup, fixing your hair, or anything else, it will improve your mood. I wait a minute, I give songs like a day or two after the first round to see how I feel about it. Sometimes all we need is a little story to calm us down, which is exactly what I do! I would post the tracks of me doing DIsney and Broadway songs, and I really loved it but I was always super anxious so nobody really knew.
