Seat 3 D is a United Polaris open-suite. PS: The conection flights Airbus were a lot more confortable - and I had at least 10" to "spare" on the seat belts! Service was exceptionally nice. Even more odd, was the shared bar bewteen the seats, so if someone had been in my left, their right leg and my left leg would have shared the floor space. The leg room is better that is a given, however the seat is smaller and the tray table is terrible. BUT, I would opt for the lateral seats. The walkway narrows at this point and everyone bumped in to me, including the flight attendants. This seems a minor thing, but it is a great convenience as opposed to being at the mercy of the overall cabin temperature controls. Could not speak with my travel partner for 8 hrs because it was difficult to see or hear them. This issue also applies to the seat 40J. Very comfortable Main Cabin Extra seat. At 6'1", I had plenty of room to stretch out. Plenty of leg room and I thought the seat width was good.

In fact the proximity is actually a convenience. I liked the fact that row 19 has a bulkhead behind it, allowing extra storage behind you. Find another airline!! I was able to use my neck pillow and the airline pillow to get a bit comfortable and I am short, so I stuck my feet in the seatback pocket and was able to get a bit of sleep with medicinal help. Seat 34 B is a standard Economy Class seat. I flew from Dallas to London and paid a little bit more to sit in 33C. Seat 3 A is a United Polaris open-suite. My seat in First Class was nowhere near as nice as most airlines. This is a good seat with great leg room. Luckily the center seat was open on this flight and that made a huge diffence. The seats are extremely narrow, to the point where all three of us seating in the section by the window had to sit the whole journey with our arms folded, squashed up like sardines.
