December 24th, Windows 11 user here. Just got this Dell Alienware monitor and it is incredible. To support the high refresh rate of the monitor, I must create a custom resolution in the Nvidia Control Panel and bump the refresh to Hz and color bit depth to 10bit. This could quite possibly be a Microsoft or Nvidia question, but does anyone have a suggestion to allow swapping between picture modes SDR to HDR and back without wiping the SDR color and resolution settings in Windows? Windows does have a shortcut to do this. I have this problem too 0.

That said, I recently picked up a new monitor that I have tried to calibrate with some difficulty understanding the best settings. I am using a Calibrite Colorchecker Display Pro. Is this correct? I know that the technology is different, but I just want to make sure this is the best choice of the choices given. The monitor I have set to a custom color profile, and have only adjusted the brightness, and color gain for Red, Gree, and Blue. I have not adjusted the offsets, hue, or saturation at all. There are other CCSS samples but some of them were not measured properly. Depending on your particular colorimeter unit it may cause a whitepoint error or return same coordinates under some small dE distance between them. SOme threads explaing this. Hi Vincent — to be perfectly honest, at lot of that data is beyond my current level of understanding. All said and done, I think the monitor looks pretty good, just a little saturated in the reds.
