Attack on titan 138 manga
The penultimate chapter of Attack On Titan's manga has arrived, shattering the expectations of many fans for what some might consider to be a "happy ending" , as we see the Survey Corps suffer some serious losses before Hajime Isayama's franchise comes to a close. Big Warning. If you have yet to read the latest chapter of Attack On Titan's manga, Chapter , and don't want the finale of the series spoiled, turn back now. In the latter half of the chapter, we bear witness to Mikasa apparently imagining a separate timeline in her head, in which both she and Eren are able to escape from the military and the nation of Marley to live out Jaeger's final days before his life comes to an end as a result of harboring the power of the Attack Titan. Unfortunately, Mikasa's imagined alternate life smashes into the real world in one of the most disturbing ways possible, as she decapitates Eren from his Titan and kisses him in the final panel. Many who have been following Attack On Titan from its start believe that the very first pages of the series hint at this split timeline that is shown here, with Mikasa waking Eren up as children and seemingly referencing this new series of events. The idea of being able to venture into the past, or even look into the future, has been something that has appeared a few times over the course of the series, so it definitely isn't a surprise to see it rear its ugly head once again as we race toward the finish line. The chapter didn't just see Eren Jaeger seemingly being killed by Mikasa, it also featured Gabi, Connie, and Jean being transformed into Titans , which is a fate worse than death. With only one more chapter to go in the manga, it will definitely be interesting to see how the story of the Survey Corps finally wraps. What did you think of this nightmarish penultimate chapter? Captain Levi is the one to think fast, fleeing with Mikasa, Peick, and Falco, those close to him and immune. That or the plan was to get parasyte fellah out of the way. Fuck Mankasa.
The penultimate chapter of the Attack on Titan manga delivers two landmark moments fans have been waiting a long time for -- and in one fail swoop. A first kiss and a final good-bye. The two participants are, of course, Eren and Mikasa, the 'will they, won't they? Protagonists -- or rather, protagonist and protagonist-turned-antagonist -- who have been locked in on two opposing sides of a desperate battle for the future of humanity for some time now. Since Eren's slow descent into villainy began , Mikasa has been on an emotional tailspin, unable to reconcile the boy she fell in love with, who rescued her from a hateful attempt on her life in childhood, with the man delivering that same contemptuous violence to their 'enemies' outside of Paradis. Though she's fought valiantly and successfully to halt Eren's Rumbling, Chapter is where the last Ackerman woman finally makes a stand. In Chapter , though the remaining Scouts and Warriors were able to separate Eren's Founding Titan from the strange, shining parasite nestled in his body -- the source of all Titans, it seems -- the latest installment reveals that this hasn't brought the final battle to a close.
This article is about the th chapter of the Attack on Titan manga. Rough drafts for this chapter were published in Attack on Titan: Ending. The Rumbling appears to be over, but the centipede that emerged from the Founding Titan has survived and so has Eren Yeager. Reiner Braun moves to tackle the centipede while Armin Arlert holds off Eren. The centipede emits a gas that covers the fort and the Eldians around it. Recognizing the danger, Levi Ackerman gets Pieck Finger and Mikasa back on Falco so they can escape before the gas transforms all the other Eldians, including members of the Survey Corps and the Warriors' families into Titans. Mikasa experiences a life in Paths where she and Eren ran away from the war with Marley and he asks her to forget him when he dies in four years.

Lmao literal necrophilia. I guess this is the last hint about what's coming. The chapter didn't just see Eren Jaeger seemingly being killed by Mikasa, it also featured Gabi, Connie, and Jean being transformed into Titans , which is a fate worse than death. Recent Posts See All. If the Marleyan's present at Fort Salta come to understand that the Eldian's potential to turn into Titans does not make them "evil", attitudes might perhaps be changed once and for all. It felt like that silent understanding of one another, it felt like they were once again complete, like the Androgynous, that longed for each other in each lifetime they existed, and each, longed to find their other half. And even the cuck king still can't tamper the memories from Ackerman people. What about his POV? Much like the method Marley used to poison Connie's hometown of Rakago, the anomaly emits a gas into the air which immediately threatens to turn the Subjects of Ymir at the fort into Pure Titans. As painful as they are, death in Attack on Titan is not without narrative reason, it is the very thing that has lead the characters to where they are now. He has seen the future, we know this, and even amidst the chaos of the Rumbling, Eren claims that his friends are free to stop him, or rather, he wants them to.
Wow I did not think this show would get this crazy but man does this hit different then all those other ones? They killed them, every single last one of them, dead, I finally understand why Erens VA has depression.
What supersedes this climactic, and very much fateful, event can only be described as a coping mechanism for her. It's way worse than GoT S8 ever was. Broadly speaking, the deaths of numerous Attack on Titan characters has been unnecessary because life itself is ultimately cruel. It's so stupid that Eren would let himself get killed, especially when he knows the future and when he's been annoying us for years about moving forward, freedom and lalala We still don't know if the Alliance will remain titans or not, given the small amount of balls Isayama has shown during these last 10 chapters We don't really know what Eren's endgame is yet. Plus there is no reason those titans will turn back. Fuck this manga and fuck this author. Mikasa and Eren always belonged to each other and in a world where time loop exists, their bond feels like an affective resonance.. I haven't read it yet, but I like what I saw for the most. Some of her memories from another life, probably sparked a connection that reached her in the current lifetime that she lives in. Signature removed. See All Discussions.
