We are here to help people have better days and get animals adopted. The Asher House is on a mission to make this world a better place, one rescue animal at a time. The Asher House Animal Sanctuary is a registered c3. We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals that have been abused, abandoned, or discarded and provide them with a safe home. We impact lives through our rescue networks, our national spay and neuter programs, and community involvement via library partnerships, school assemblies, and homeless outreach. We frequently provide financial help to shelters and other rescues who are in other parts of the country and who don't have the support needed. We currently have over animals on our two properties, including dogs, cats, birds, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, cows, horses, goats, sheep and even a ram. Each of these animals have a unique set of needs that we pay for through donations and our merchandise sales. Together, we can take action and change the world, one rescue animal at a time. Lee Asher will not be present at any of the adoptions. Hi there! But all I want to do is snuggle up on the couch on a rainy day and nap. I do like to be outside and go on adventures though, somewhere with wide open space so I can show you my speed. As long as you are always there, my love will never need repair! And so I bend on bended knee my dearest new family, will you adopt me?

When told the animals were not there "jailed" for misdeeds, but simply because they were unwanted or discarded, Asher revealed how he would pen letters to the animals promising to rescue them one day. I felt very different.
