This sits over a fairly basic layer of comfort foam which does offer some pressure relief but it is far from luxurious. This rather basic comfort layer sits over a 3 zone pocket spring system that feels noticeably cheap and flimsy. Overall spinal support is lacking, partly due to the unstable feeling that exists in most sleeping positions and during normal sleep movements.
