Stan rigs the school election to help Steve score with girls, but the plan backfires when Steve wins and becomes drunk with power. Stan steals Steve's lucrative idea to stage and videotape "bum fights," in which homeless men are forced to beat each other senseless, but when Steve helps the transients to organize, Stan is forced to step into the ring himself! Hayley takes a job as a stripper after moving into her boyfriend's van and being financially cut off by Stan. Meanwhile, Steve claims that Roger is his horribly disfigured burn-victim sister in order to gain sympathy points and "get boob" at the school dance. After forgetting his anniversary, Stan arranges to have the last 24 hours of Francine's memory erased, but a bungling technician accidentally erases 20 years, sending Francine back to relive her days as a wild and carefree teenager. When Roger slips into a coma, the Smiths think he's dead and dispose of his body, and while the family copes with their "loss," Roger awakens, only to find himself being pursued by the CIA. Stan panics after discovering that his new neighbors are Arab-American; and Steve finds himself at the mercy of the Scout Rangers. Francine Smith. Steve Smith. Hayley Smith. American Dad! The series was moved to TBS in and continues to air new episodes to this day. Creative direction of American Dad! Since its debut, American Dad! The total number of seasons and organization of episodes within those seasons are in dispute due to discrepancies in how official sources report this information. American Dad! It was created, in part, by Seth MacFarlane , the creator of Family Guy who wanted to recreate the dynamic of All in the Family of a conservative father and a liberal daughter. The show centers on the Smith family and the various obstacles Stan, a CIA employee, encounters with his immediate family and in his efforts to ensure the safety of his country. The Smith family lives in the fictional U. Langley is the real-life location of CIA headquarters.
