The Wolves zipped through their and regular seasons by winning the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association East Conference pennant with perfect records.

The game had a tense start, with the Wolves down in the first quarter. While the game was back-and-forth throughout, they turned it around by halftime, and held tightly to a lead. Despite the close start by the currently undefeated team, fans were undeterred by the tight game. From the halfway point onwards the game was intense, with two-way gameplay and strong defence from the Wolves. The team credits this victory to their strength in their defensive game. Coach Jaime McLean was pleased with the results, as well as the performance awards some athletes received for their work during the season.

In the semi-final vs St. The Wolves took down the Saints to move on to the championship game against the host Lambton Lions the following day. Despite the loss, Miller was a bright spot for Algonquin scoring a game high 22 points and collecting 7 rebounds. It was a big weekend for the women's basketball team as they hosted the Mohawk Mountaineers with a spot in the OCAA Final 4 on the line. The St. Mother Teresa alumni also added 6 rebounds and 3 assists to the stat sheet. The Wolves came away with a win, punching their ticket to the Final 4 hosted by Lambton College in Sarnia Ontario. First up is a matchup with the St. Clair Saints on Saturday at pm.

Faith Billaney from the Wolves women's volleyball team is the week 8 athlete of the week! The team picked up a 2nd road win in as many days against the Colts, improving their record to on the year. Her efforts earned her Wolves player of the game and a spot on the tournament All-Star team. The Wolves would bounce back on Saturday to take a win over the Georgian Grizzlies. The Wolves came away with a win with both goals being scored by Samantha Jones. She also led the league in steals at 5. The Cornwall native also had a strong defensive game collecting 5 digs. The team is back in action this weekend in Oshawa for tournament 2! The team will be back in action this Saturday at home when they take on the George Brown Huskies. The Cornwall native also had a strong defensive game collecting 5 digs. In the semi-final vs St. Libby's performance helped the Wolves earn a win. She finished the weekend with 7 tries helping lead her team to wins over the Fleming Phoenix and the Loyalist Lancers. Algonquin picked a good time to come up with one of their best performances of the year, upsetting the Mountaineers with a win. Claire Donnan. This was a big weekend for the Wolves with playoff seeding implications on the line. Dasia McDonald was up to her old tricks stuffing the stats sheet with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 7 steals and 4 assists. The team is back in action this weekend in Oshawa for a 2 day tournament hosted by the Durham Lords. The third and final game of the day was a battle against the Loyalist Lancers as the teams played to a draw.
