This means shoppers will not be able to do a late run to the supermarket for last minute bits on Christmas Eve. Customers should also be aware that they will not be able to make any purchases until 10am on Christmas Eve - they will be able to browse the store for the first half an hour. All its 1, stores will be closed on Christmas Day - unlike some other supermarket chains Aldi, will also remain closed on Boxing Day too. Aldi has done this for several years saying that Christmas was an "important time" for many of its staff and keeping their stores closed on Boxing Day allowed them to spend more time with family.
