We would be looking for nice condo near or on the beach that offers a good discount for a one or two month rental. We have been in town for a short stay several years ago and realize that the city is huge with horrible traffic at times so we would like to know the best area to choose that will offer a good variety of restaurants as well as grocery shopping within a mostly walking distance. That Walmart on the Costera, is one of the largest in Mexico, good quality and service and you are surrounded by Condo's Hotels and very good Restaurants. Also on the Costera, the Acapulco Malibu might offer a decent rate on and extended stay. Villa Playas Diamante:Av. If you want most things within walking distance, I would recommend the Costa Azul and the Condesa areas. Actually anywhere along the Costera will be what you are looking for. If you do not mind spending money on taxis every time time you want to go out to eat or explore the city, then stay out in Diamante. I would check with VRBO to see what is available for your time frame.
