Touch wood my Lexus RX has been faultless I stopped and restarted the car and all went back to normal but i'm now worried. Having done a couple of searches here it could be a leveling sensor problem. Anyone had this replaced - if so how much are we looking? I'm presuming it's not a DIY job?? I reckon all this could be related to some condensation i've been seeing in my passenger headlamp.
With modern Lexus vehicles, there are many lights on the dash that can come on and cause confusion for the driver. Sometimes, you may see the AFS light and wonder what it means. The AFS system is designed to improve visibility and safety while driving. However, when the AFS light comes on, it means there is a problem with the system.

There is more to the AFS system than headlights that can cause these errors so before anyone accuses them for putting in wrong headlights, the real arguement is them making the blinking AFS go away since it could need new headlights and sensor adjustments, etc, etc, on and on. Touch wood my Lexus RX has been faultless It's also possible the wrong non-AFS headlights were installed, or aftermarket lights were installed. I found that the position of the AFS switch made no difference after the flashing began, but if I parked and turned everything off, the problem must sometimes have reset, because it did not always come on again straight away.
