Two people have been rushed to hospital and a man has been arrested after an accident on a major road in Sydney's north. A man aged 53 who was towing a boat on a trailer behind his ute suffered head injuries, NSW Ambulance said. A woman in another car was treated at the scene, and both were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital. The driver of ute — a year-old man - and his year-old female passenger were both removed from the car and treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition. The driver of the sedan — a year-old man — was arrested and taken to Manly Police Station for further inquiries.
