Purpose: This study aims to define the solutions towards fractions and solving models case of fourth grade primary school students. Selected by means of convenient case sampling, fourth grade primary school students were included in this research. Fractions test developed by the researchers was applied to the students and the data obtained from the students were analyzed with descriptive analysis. Findings: Primary school 4th grade students were able to rank equal fractions of units and denominators, and add and subtract operation in fractions and solve problems that require these operations. It was seen that students who could model fraction types simple, improper, whole number of fraction could not determine the fraction of a multiplicity, but they could show the fraction of the multiplicity on at model.
