I went to start the car first thing in the morning and nothing happened when I pushed the start button. The brake pedal was also very stiff. I waited a few seconds and try a couple of times but still nothing happened. I gave it a couple of minutes and came back to try it again, and this time the brake pedal felt normal and it started right up.

This is clearly a Hyundai defect. Then that failed. Has been to the dealer 3 times, but they say it starts for them every time. Unfortunately, if your hand is not, I won't start because of a failed engine; you are in a tough critical situation where you might need to install a new engine to get your vehicle going. Didn't think too much of it at first till it started taking longer and longer to start. I checked all of them using the tiny holes on top of each fuse thankfully…if one side read 12v, the other side should as well, and every-single-fuse tested good. Don answered 8 years ago. I have been doing this temporarily until I can get it looked at and have the funds to take care of the problem. According to the expert's replies, it is expected for new batteries not to perform on their full capacity initially. Both of these solutions suggested an old transistor that had degraded or contacts that have degraded making the voltage to the solenoid to be marginal and not allow it to start. Have had no issues with the car until a week ago. I thought that it was a bad bulb but it started back working again.
