The ABS in my Camry Hybrid is on its way out I believe because it is constantly trying to pressurise turning the pump on and off,even with the car off. I found that on almost all other camry's of the same year with the same ABS problems that you can basically just remove and replace the ABS module constaining the solenoids while leaving the rest of the abs intact in the vehicle. This whole assembly must be removed from the car which means disconnected the brake fluid lines and gets a little messy. But ABS assembly module always made noisy when you start Engine or turn off engine, recently I driven my car to do double confirm it with an auto-shop, the brake system and ABS system still does not work, I test driving nearby the auto-shop, I could not brake it again, I could not trust Toyota! Please consider creating a new thread. Easy swap, the hardest thing is figuring out the bolt size for the four bolts. Then suddenly the car stopped. Yeah, I bought it in , a second hand. This all happened as my brakes went out. No one tricked you especially Toyota because they had nothing to do with it. I do not trust Toyota again because they can not ensure their car Saftey control system, that is down-to -earth! Greatly diminished brake function is a serious safety concern. You could have had similar problems with any brand of used vehicle. They advertise the lower price plus a core charge hold fee that they will refund once they receive the core back.
