When detecting a decrease in engine speed due to rapid deceleration or heavy load condition, ECM controls and reactivates the starter relay. If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always perform the following procedure before conducting the next test. Disconnect vacuum hoses from intake manifold. Check 1st trip DTC. Is 1st trip DTC detected? Are any DTC detected? Check the starter motor relay power supply circuit. Is the inspection result normal?
