I chibi base a buddy with a Chevelle with a "" vin number. He does not know if it was originally a super sport, either do I. Up until this morning, I thought all Chevelles with a "" vin were Malibus and all Chevelles with a "" vin were super sports. Additional info: both vin number and cowl tag show proof of the car coming from Fermont CA plant. I'm interested to know if I truly have a 68 chevelle SS but would also like to know considering the vehicle will have to pass a CHP inspection due to the car falling out of the dmv system.

Production exceeded , units for the Baltimore plant sometime in May, and the Kansas City plant sometime in April so the VIN sequence for those respective time frames to the end of production would be 2nnnnn for each plant.
