We have stayed here with a group of friends for a weekend of fishing - is renowned for its Reef fishing. The campground is located in a secluded bay with areas to safely moor your boat. The camping ground mainly caters for tents and camper vans but do have sites for caravans with power, water and sullage. Along the beachfront you will have power but no sullage - evening campfires are allowed on these sites.

Agnes Water is just 5 minutes away and is the furthest north in Qld where surfers can catch a wave. With a bit of wind or swell people travel to and Agnes Water to get out their long boards and catch a wave around the Agnes Water headland. It is located approximately halfway between Bundaberg and Gladstone and is a 6 hour drive north from the capital city of Brisbane. The towns name is derived from the second landing of Captain Cook in Australia in the year The population of the and local area is around people however it has significantly increased in the last year or two and is now thought to have doubled that number. Beachfront sites are available and come with power, a fire pit and the most magnificent views. Beachfront sites do not have access to hook up to water or to release grey water. Cheaper sites are available back from the water in the Camping Ground and whilst all sites come with power you can choose to go unpowered and not use the electricity. The Camping Ground also has a cafe and takeaway shop which provides meals and drinks plus some basic necessities. Keep your eye out and you will see dolphins in the river and kookaburras around the campsite as we did. Open fire pits are available and we enjoyed a campfire at sunset with our neighbouring campers.

It is a picturesque campground that offers beachfront sites in the quaint township of on the Queensland coast. The caravan park is accessible to RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs, and provides toilets, showers, drinking water, swimming and power hookups. Latitude, Longitude: We thought the location for Caravan Park was fantastic! We had a beach front site with a camp fire right at the front of our campsite. It was a great spot for doing some fishing and for the kids to cool off in the water, with the option of both the river and the beach for swimming. If you love to SUP this was an awesome spot for that too!
