So we picked up a couple of acres on a small island square mile in Northern Ontario this year and are looking to put a couple of small 10x10 bunkies on it next summer. Can anyone give me some suggestions? Sell me a plan? Apparently there's a course available from the original writer and architect, Steve Maxwell, that includes full plans and a video. Obviously it depends on the local municipality but in almost all areas, the "no permit sq ft" code applies to accessory buildings - you need to have a main building on the lot. I plan on building a garage with living quarters in the next years so the shed with sleeping quarters would only be used seasons for temporary accommodations. Your thoughts????
